North Carolina | A Perfect Beach House Wedding

I first met Ginny and Andrew in the summer of 2021 when I took their engagement photos. They were living out of town at the time, but luckily our paths crossed when they planned to stop in Virginia Beach on their way to the Outer Banks for their annual family vacation. 

When we met, they were still waiting to solidify their wedding plans because of the uncertainty with COVID but were giddy with excitement to tie the knot. So when I received a message from them a few months later asking if I could photograph their wedding day, I was absolutely elated!

Their wedding landed on the most ideal October day they could have asked for at the cutest beach house in Nags Head, North Carolina. I love having the opportunity to capture the energy in the room during such a special day. I could feel the love for the couple from everyone in the room. The bridal party photos turned out to be some of my favorite ones I’ve ever taken! You can see the energy, excitement, and love they have for Ginny through the photos. The ceremony was short and sweet–filled with stories and anecdotes showcasing the beautiful relationship between Ginny and Andrew. The reception that followed was so much fun–their DJ played songs that kept the dance floor filled all night long. I also love how they opted for smores by the fire instead of a traditional cake–they included special touches throughout the night to truly make their wedding a representation of their personalities and relationship.
